Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you ("User," "you") and Laxy Media LLC ("Laxy," "we," "us," "our"), a limited liability company with a registered address at 8390 E Via de Ventura, STE F110-2080, Scottsdale, AZ, USA, governing your use of the website located at laxycompany.com and any related applications or services (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What Laxy Does

Laxy uses artificial intelligence (including third-party large language models) to generate an analysis of a business idea you submit, including an estimated target audience, startup cost, revenue potential, ROI timeline, difficulty assessment, and a six-dimension scorecard (collectively, an "Analysis").

Analyses are AI-generated estimates for informational and educational purposes only. They are not professional business, financial, legal, tax, or investment advice, and they are not a substitute for consulting a qualified professional, conducting your own due diligence, or performing independent market research. Laxy does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any Analysis. You are solely responsible for any decisions you make based on an Analysis, including decisions to start, fund, or operate a business.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. When you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Free Analyses and Usage Limits

The Service may offer a limited number of free Analyses (currently: one free Analysis as an anonymous visitor, no card required; further Analyses require a one-time purchase). We may change the number, availability, or conditions of free Analyses at any time, including reducing or discontinuing them, without prior notice.

4. Payment Terms

Once your free Analyses are used, generating additional Analyses requires payment through one-time purchases (for example, a single-Analysis unlock or a multi-Analysis pack), at the prices displayed at checkout. We do not currently offer recurring subscriptions; all purchases are one-time and non-recurring unless clearly stated otherwise at checkout.

All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. ("Stripe"), a third-party payment processor. Laxy does not collect or store your full payment card details. By making a purchase, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service. Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are subject to change; changes will not affect purchases already completed.

5. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy (/refund-policy), which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to submit content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, or that violates the rights of any third party;
  • Attempt to circumvent free-trial or usage limits (for example, by creating multiple accounts, using automated tools, or manipulating browser storage);
  • Scrape, reverse-engineer, resell, sublicense, or systematically extract data from the Service without our prior written consent;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service, including through malware, denial-of-service attacks, or unauthorized access attempts;
  • Use the Service to generate content for training a competing AI model.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.

7. Intellectual Property

Your content. You retain all rights to the business idea text and any other content you submit ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant Laxy a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process, store, and use that content solely to provide, maintain, and improve the Service (including refining the AI prompts and scoring logic).

Our content. The Service, including its software, design, branding, and the structure and formatting of generated Analyses (but not the underlying facts or your idea itself), is owned by Laxy or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may use an Analysis you purchased or received for your own personal or business purposes, but you may not resell, redistribute, or represent the Service itself as your own product.

8. Third-Party AI Providers

To generate an Analysis, your submitted idea text is sent to one or more third-party AI providers (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google) for processing. Those providers process the data under their own terms and privacy commitments. See our Privacy Policy for more detail.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE AND ALL ANALYSES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY ANALYSIS WILL BE ACCURATE OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR PURPOSES.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LAXY MEDIA LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR ANY ANALYSIS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO LAXY IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR (B) $50 USD.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Laxy Media LLC from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, including for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time by contacting us.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Effective Date" above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction.
